Victorian District Award – The Victorian District, Savannah's first streetcar suburb, developed during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  Renowned for its beautifully preserved homes in the Queen Anne, Victorian, Gothic Revival and Second Empire architectural styles, the district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, with its boundaries expanded in 1982.

Beginning just south of the Historic District, the 50-block Victorian District encompasses Forsyth Park and a remarkable collection of architectural landmarks, including the former Mary Telfair Hospital for Women, St. Paul's Greed Orthodox Church, the historic Carnegie Library and many other significant historic buildings that showcase Savannah's rich architectural heritage.
