The Pink House Patio
Oil on Stretched Canvas
18" x "
The iconic Pink House Restaurant was built in 1771 by James Habersham, Jr. as his private residence. It was later Georgia's first bank. It was purchased by Jim Williams (notorious for his 1982-1987 murder trials) in 1968.
This painting is from a series of photos I took in the early 1980's. It looks the same today!
The patio, to the right of the front porch, is a welcoming place to wait for seating or to enjoy the beauty of Reynolds Square. The painting gives you a glimpse of a person working inside.
