A Moment in Madison Square
Oil on Linen Canvas
9" x 9"

A plein air artist can set up an easel in any direction in Savannah's Madison Square and capture a scene worthy of her time and effort. I saw a light magically reflect off the Gryphon Tea Room window and grabbed it. By the time I finished, the light had disappeared - but my recording of it hadn't. Savannah's history belongs to its time; its light belongs in the moment.
