Abstracted landscapes allow the viewer to make up their own story about what they see. I started thinking how waves feel: when they hit you: when they cover you: when they throw you. I painted that. My story went from there. Water shapes were developed. Other areas conceived. A lot of scraping and reworking occurred. In the end I saw a man casting a net.
