This piece was painted on location early last year in Cornwall England in the small town of Charlestown. This beautiful harbor had recently been hit by a big storm and was undergoing repairs. Normally the harbor is home to a number of tall ships. This, coupled with the old buildings and surrounding rugged landscape create a feeling of stepping into the past.
