Celebrate Savannah’s Architectural Legacy.  Savannah is home to one of the largest historic districts in the United States, a cityscape defined by its beautifully preserved and restored architecture. From the elegance of Regency and Georgian styles to the character of Federal, Gothic Revival, Italianate, and Greek Revival, Savannah’s human-scale built environment is a true visual and cultural treasure.

To honor this legacy, Georgia Color is proud to present the Best Representation of Savannah’s Architecture Award. This award celebrates an outstanding plein air work that captures the spirit and architectural beauty of the Host City.

Georgia Color is the premier juried plein air competition exclusively for Georgia-based artists. During the event, the state’s most accomplished outdoor painters will create original, collectible works throughout Savannah and its surrounding areas. A variety of public events and exhibitions will showcase their work.
