"Overcast Hues" was painted in New England near Gloucester, Massachusetts. It was a rainy fall afternoon, and I painted from the front seat of my beloved jeep wrangler, which is extremely uncomfortable no matter how small you paint. It started out very gray and then after the rain started to clear the pops of color in the marina became so vibrant. It was fun to add those finishing touches to the final painting. The actual size of "Overcast Hues" is 6-7/8" x 1-7/8"
