I stole a shot of this at a marina in Savannah last year. I just thought the scene was so beautiful clouds were really lovely it made me want to get on that boat and go catch some fish. While working on this I was practicing laying down a mark and letting it be. I painted it relatively quickly and totally alla-prima. Wish I could have painted this en plein air. Perhaps we'll meet again someday.
